Classic Beef and Cheese Burger with

B-well Thick and Creamy Mayonnaise

For the Beef Patties

  • 500g ground beef (preferably with 20% fat content)
  • 1 small onion, finely chopped
  • 2 cloves garlic, minced
  • 1 tablespoon Worcestershire sauce
  • 1 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 1 tablespoon B-well Canola Oil

For the Assembly

  • 4 burger buns
  • 8 slices of cheddar cheese (for double patties)
  • Lettuce leaves
  • Sliced tomatoes
  • Sliced red onions
  • Pickles (optional)
  • B-well Thick and Creamy Mayonnaise


1. Prepare the Beef Patties:

  1. In a large bowl, combine ground beef, finely chopped onion, minced garlic, Worcestershire sauce, salt, and black pepper. Mix until just combined; do not overmix.
  2. Divide the mixture into 8 equal portions and shape them into patties.
  3. Heat B-well Canola Oil in a skillet or grill pan over medium-high heat.
  4. Cook the patties for about 4-5 minutes on each side, or until they reach your desired level of doneness. In the last minute of cooking, place a slice of cheddar cheese on each patty and cover to melt the cheese.

2. Assemble the Burger:

  1. Toast the burger buns lightly.
  2. Spread a generous amount of B-well Thick and Creamy Mayonnaise on both the top and bottom halves of the buns.
  3. Place a beef patty with melted cheese on the bottom bun.
  4. Spread a layer of B-well Thick and Creamy Mayonnaise on top of the first patty before placing the second patty with melted cheese on top.
  5. Top with lettuce leaves, sliced tomatoes, sliced red onions, and pickles if using.
  6. Place the top bun on the burger.

3. Serve:

  1. Serve the classic beef and cheese burgers immediately, with extra B-well Thick and Creamy Mayonnaise on the side if desired
