Seared Tuna Burger with

B-well Original Tangy Mayonnaise

For the Tuna Steaks

  • 4 fresh tuna steaks (about 150g each)
  • 2 tablespoons B-well Canola and Olive Oil Blend
  • Salt and pepper to taste

For the Assembly

  • 4 whole grain burger buns
  • 1 cup mixed greens (such as spinach, arugula, or lettuce)
  • 2 tomatoes, sliced
  • 1 red onion, thinly sliced
  • B-well Original Tangy Mayonnaise


1. Prepare the Tuna Steaks:

  1. Season the tuna steaks with salt and pepper on both sides.
  2. Heat B-well Canola and Olive Oil Blend in a skillet over medium-high heat.
  3. Sear the tuna steaks for about 1-2 minutes on each side, until they are nicely browned on the outside but still pink in the center. Adjust the cooking time to your desired level of doneness.

2. Assemble the Burger:

  1. Toast the burger buns lightly.
  2. Spread a generous amount of B-well Original Tangy Mayonnaise on both the top and bottom halves of the buns.
  3. Place a seared tuna steak on the bottom bun.
  4. Top with mixed greens, sliced tomatoes, and thinly sliced red onions.
  5. Place the top bun on the burger.

3. Serve:

  1. Serve the seared tuna burgers immediately, with extra B-well Original Tangy Mayonnaise on the side if desired.
